Texas Little Cuties Rescue

Put a little "TLC" in your life!

Texas Little Cuties(TLC) Rescue is a 501(3)(c) non profit organization that typically rescues our dogs & cats from local shelters as well as taking in strays.  TLC is an all-volunteer animal rescue organization that specializes in saving little cuties scheduled to be euthanized because shelters lack room and funding. These animals are wonderful and they are only put down because they have no owners to claim & adopt them in time. They are all waiting for that miraculous second chance in life that they so deserve.

Our animals stay in loving foster homes where they are socialized, loved and evaluated to determine the best type of environment for their personalities. All animals receive their appropriate vaccinations (Rabies, Distemper, Parvo and Bordetella), deworming, and heartworm testing and scheduled for a spay or neuter. All dogs in our care are on heartworm preventative the minute they arrive. If a dog is tested positive for heartworms, we will take him through treatment or will recommend doing heartworm preventative for 7 months then retest. Not all dogs can handle the strong treatments, especially our very small Chihuahuas. Please contact us if you would like more information.

Foster Homes are ALWAYS desperately needed. Please consider filling out an application and put "FOSTER" as the dog interested in to become a foster parent. It is so rewarding to be able to say that you made a difference in that animals life and the lives of his new family!

We are a 501(3)(c) non profit RESCUE ORGANIZATION, therefore, please complete our online Adoption Application by clicking on the application page.   We require an adoption application, vet reference, and a home visit with the pet. If you have current pets, they must be spayed and/or neutered, current on their vaccinations, and on Heartworm preventative. ALL of our pets are spayed or neutered prior to being adopted, or they appointments have been scheduled. Our adoption fee varies. Our fees include spay or neuter, deworming, microchipping, all shots, FIV &/or heartworm testing, and treatment if needed.  If your current pet is not microchipped, please talk to a volunteer about allowing TLC to microchip your dog or cat for a small fee.
 Rollin' with Chloe
Can you say OMG , a 100 times fast.  This girl rocks....and rolls.  She was rescued from a kill shelter in April 2015.  She was paralyzed by some sort of accident, we think.  She goes to Petsmart with us every weekend and acts as the TLC & Petsmart ambassador.  She rolls and greets everyone.  If you are standing there, she will sneak in between your legs and just wait for some loving.

On April 30th, the horrible thing happened.  A pit bull tried to pick her up by her rear end.  Thankfully the wheelchair prevented any serious damage, just one puncture wound.  Well, that one puncture wound infected her entire body...tissue and blood supply.  She spent the week at our vet and then she was transferred to Dallas Animal Diagnostic Clinic and has been there for over 2 weeks.  She has had 3 surgeries and 2 blood transfusions.  At this time, we have spent over $15,000 to save her......which is what we have done.  She gets to come home this week with one more possible surgery to go.  She has taken over that hospital.  Once they put her back into her wheelchair, she rolls to everyone brightening the day of all the employees.  That's what Chloe does best.

We have raised $4000 towards her care and will continue to do numerous fundraisers in her honor.  We took out a personal loan to pay for her care, and we will pay it back with your help.  Please donate today!  Every dollar adds up.  If 750 people would give up one Starbucks once a week for one month, thats $16, then we would have her balance paid off.  Until we pay her loan off, we can not continue rescuing aggressively like we have in the past.

For those who have not met Chloe, it is a must that you do so at Petsmart in Garland once she has healed.  For those that have supported her the past year, you know what the fuss is about.

Please support us in SAVING CHLOE!
